Steve Bollinger is the Head of Regulatory at Carecubes, where he leads regulatory strategy, quality systems oversight, design development support, and oversight of quality systems. Prior to joining Carecubes, he spent more than 35 years founding and leading venture-backed medical device companies, including Ovala, Inc., Rinovum Women’s Health, Pervasis Therapeutics, Angiolink, and Byron Medical. He is the Founder and CEO of Ovala, Inc., a company focused on advancing women’s health while improving quality of life and environmental sustainability. Steve specializes in complex FDA regulatory strategies, quality management systems, and strategic planning for early-stage medical device companies. Prior to his healthcare career, he served as an artillery officer in the United States Army from 1987 to 1991, leading reconnaissance teams into combat during Operation Desert Storm. In 1991, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for exceptional meritorious service in combat. During his service, he graduated from the United States Army Airborne and Ranger Schools. Steve holds seven medical patents, with multiple additional patents pending.
