Alex Laskey is the Founder and Chairman of Carecubes, where he leads all aspects of the business. Prior to starting Carecubes, Alex founded and served as President of Opower, the global leader in cloud-based software for the utility industry. Under his leadership, Opower grew from a two-person startup to a publicly traded company serving more than half of the world’s largest electric and gas utilities. Today, Opower—now a division of Oracle—delivers more than 6 terawatt-hours of energy savings annually and helps homeowners save over $1 billion each year on energy costs. Alex is also the Founder and Executive Chairman of Rewiring America and serves on the boards of Arcadia, American Roots, and the IRC’s Airbel Center. He is a longtime trustee of the Conservation Lands Foundation.
